01Phase 1 demonstration

A receptionist that answers, then writes it all down.

Riley takes tenant calls for a lettings agency, in your browser. When the call ends, the agency gets a summary email with the caller's name, number, reason, property and consent.

The summary is delivered server to server from a signed end of call report, so closing the tab cannot lose it.

  • I'd like to view the two bedroom flat on Mill Road.
  • I need to report a leak in my kitchen.
  • Can I get an update on my deposit?

02The problem

Voicemail is where enquiries go to die.

Lettings agencies run on the phone. A tenant with a leak, an applicant who wants a viewing, a landlord chasing an update: each one calls, and each call lands while the team is out at a viewing or already on another line. What is not answered goes to voicemail, and most people do not leave one.

Riley is a demonstration of a different first step. The call is answered. The details are collected in conversation, read back, corrected where the caller says so, and written down before anyone on the team has to pick up.

Answer the call. Take the details. Hand the agency a record they can act on.

03How it works

Three steps, and only the first one is yours.

Step 1You call

Riley answers in your browser.

Press the button, allow the microphone, and speak as a tenant would. Deepgram Nova 3 transcribes, ElevenLabs Turbo v2.5 gives Riley a voice.

Step 2Riley listens

Your details, read back to you.

Name, number, reason, property and consent, taken in conversation. Riley reads them back and takes corrections before the call ends.

Step 3The agency reads

A summary email, sent from the server.

Vapi sends a signed end of call report to an n8n workflow. It checks the signature, maps the fields, and emails the summary. Unsigned reports are rejected. If a caller never gives a name and a number, the subject line says so. That gate is code, not a prompt.

04What is proven

Measured on real calls. Nothing else is claimed.

This is a Phase 1 demonstration. The list on the right is as important as the one on the left.

This demo

What the demo does

  • Answers in the browser and holds a multi turn conversation.
  • Captures name, phone, reason, property and consent, including corrections made during the read back.
  • Delivers a signed end of call report to the workflow, which verifies the signature and sends the email.
  • Ends on the agreed closing phrase rather than a silence timeout.
  • Rejects unsigned and wrongly signed reports. Only a correctly signed report produces an enquiry.
Not in this demo

What the demo does not do

  • Book viewings or check availability.
  • Write to a CRM. The workflow sends an email.
  • Look anything up. There is no property database.
  • Take real phone calls. It is browser only.
  • Serve a real agency. No client has used it and no result has been measured.

Booking, CRM writes, property lookups and a real phone line are what IL Signal Studio builds in a client engagement. This page shows the receptionist; the engagement adds the rest.

05FAQ

Before you press the button.

Is this a real agency?
No. The agency, the properties and the email addresses are made up. Give Riley a made up name and number too if you prefer.
What happens to what I say?
Your audio is transcribed by Vapi during the call. When it ends, a summary of the details you gave is emailed to the demo's owner, Idris Lamina. The transcript preview on this page is built in your browser and is not sent anywhere.
Does it cost me anything?
No. Each call costs the demo's owner a small amount, which is why calls are capped at three minutes.
Can Riley book a viewing?
Not in this demonstration. Riley takes the request and the details. For a client, IL Signal Studio builds the booking step against your calendar, and property lookups against your listings.
Can it answer a real phone number?
This demonstration answers in the browser only. For a client, IL Signal Studio connects the receptionist to a real phone number so it answers inbound calls.
Which browsers work?
Chrome and Edge on desktop are the tested path. Safari and mobile browsers sometimes block the microphone or the audio stream.
What is it built with?
Vapi runs the call, with Deepgram Nova 3 for transcription and ElevenLabs Turbo v2.5 for the voice. An n8n workflow receives the signed end of call report and sends the email.
Can I have this for my agency?
Yes. IL Signal Studio builds voice reception for service businesses: the receptionist you just spoke to, plus booking, CRM writes and a real phone line as the engagement needs. Use the link at the bottom of the page to start that conversation.

Try the call.

Three minutes, no sign up, a made up name will do.
